Due to the rising veterinarian costs of treatment, medications and spay/neuter surgeries, our adoption donation fee is $225. All doggies will be spayed and/or neutered before going to their homes, with exceptions due to age or treatments preventing surgeries. In these situations each adoption will include a spay/neuter contract expected to be honored by a stated date and will include a set amount reimbursement upon receiving a veterinarian signed certificate of proof.

Liz Potof needs to find a new (wonderful) home for one of her dogs. Liz has several dogs, but this one just can't get along with one of the other ones. It's probably that "territorial" thing.
His name is "Chopie" and he's a pure bred Australian Shepherd (Red Tri), who's just as cute as can be. He's 8 years old, neutered and basically a mild-mannered dog. He walks on a leash, loves car rides, people and kids ... we don't know about cats. Chopie is up to date on his shots, and he had his vet check just last week and came up with a gold star. He just needs a different home with the perfect person. Liz can give more information to anyone interested. She can be reached at 602.799.4913 |
Please help Sadi find her Forever family
Update on Sadi
Hello all.
Just wanted to give you a quick update. Little Sadi's last vet visit didn't go
quite as well as we'd hoped but she is still progressing well. She's back on
antibiotics and we're continuing her scabies treatment every two weeks instead
of once a month like we'd hoped. But she is a healthy 14 pounds and full of
life and love. In addition to that, and besides the continuation of meds, she
has a forever home. I'm holding onto her for the time being but the forever
home has signed the adoption contract, has met Sadi and is anxious to bring her
home. They are a couple that are personal friends of one of the vets at my
clinic - can't get a better referral than that!! They are wonderful people and
Sadi took to them immediately. We are all very excited - just waiting for the
little one's health to be strong enough for spay. She's still recovering from
quite the ordeal.
I can't thank you enough for your help and posting this little girl on your
sites and helping to spread the word. I am forever grateful. I did add
aussielads and aussierescue on the flyer and printed some copies - In the Raw's
Gilbert location put them up for me for additional networking for Sadi. The
idea was to try to get some exposure for all involved in Sadi's plight. The
websites were in bright blue ink - can't miss them!
Thank you again - you both, and the rescues, will always be in my thoughts.

3/27/08 Update: Here are some pics of Joey's adoption. He met his Mom & Dad earlier in the week, but Mom came to get him on Wednesday, 3/19. Have a happy life Joey!
2/7/08 Joey is a 5-month-old Aussie mix who is house broken and loves people, kids and cats! For those of you to whom Joey looks familiar, he first came to us at 7 weeks old. Joey was adopted with a neuter contract but has not yet be neutered. He has come back into our rescue through not fault of his own :-( Joey's family has had some health/personal issues that make it impossible for them to provide the care and attention that Joey deserves. He is great in the house and does not chew or destroy anything.
Joey currently has an ear infection that is being treated and has a recheck appointment on Saturday (2/9/08). Joey is also scheduled for neuter surgery as well as an exam and pre-op tests on 2/23/08.
If you are interested in providing a loving Forever home for Joey, please contact Alice at 480-838-2267 or email at aussierescue@cox.net
